Adam Afriyie the Tory MP for Windsor is set to table an amendment to the European Referendum bill. The amendment will bring the date forward for the referendum to October next year. Not in 2017 as David Cameron wants. It is said that many Tory Mps do not trust Mr Cameron to deliver on the referendum. Tom Watson the Labour MP and nemesis of Rupert Murdoch is said to favour the Afriyie amendment. It could be the beginning of yet another Tory spasm over Europe lets hope so.
